When a project is simple, yes! We only work with companies that have enough experience to know generally what a simple project will cost. For larger and more complex projects, you can expect the pros to provide price ranges and even share what aspects of the project have the largest impact on cost. Even if a budget range isn’t feasible virtually, our aim is to help you have valuable interactions quickly.

Probably the same way you do! Online reviews are a great way to determine the reliability and professionalism of a contractor - so that’s a large part of our research. We also know many of these contractors as they have been customers for several years. Additionally, contractors who have been through our customer experience trainings have a higher likelihood of getting ProjectStory leads. While we can’t vouch for every single aspect of working with a contractor contacted through ProjectStory, we do want to hear if something’s not right. Absolutely! We provide you with a summary link that you can send to contractors that you already know. There’s some weird stuff that happens out there on the internet so we have some restrictions on those sharing links - for your protection and ours.
